With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily dated April 17, 2014 titled "Company acquiring Nilgiris", Future Retail Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:<br/><br/>"We deny any such transaction at this stage.<br/><br/>As reiterated in our earlier correspondence, we have been following a consistent corporate governance policy of informing the shareholders with right information but refrain from commenting on any such news items, to avoid any speculative activity. With regard to the present news item, we deny having any such discussion between Future Retail Limited and Nilgiris."
