Gokak Textiles Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 13, 2014 have approved submission of applications to the concerned authorities, for development of an Integrated Industrial Township at Gokak Falls, on a portion of the land, excluding the land on which, the current activities of the Company are located.<br/><br/>This development would require, approval of the Government of Karnataka, under Various agreements and statues, of the Central Government under Environment Law and other statues, of the lenders of the Company under Loan Agreements and would entail a phased implementation thereafter, taking into account, all factors, relevant at the time of implementation.
