| Indian Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of sub-section 3 of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 / 1980, read with sub-clause (1) of Clause 3 & clause 5 of the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970 / 1980, the Central Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, vide Notification dated August 14, 2015, has appointed Shri. T C Venkat Subramanian as Part Time Non-official Director as well as Non-Executive Chairman in Indian Bank for a period of three years from the date of notification of his appointment or until his attaining the age of 70 years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. | |
