| The Exchange had sought clarification from JCT Ltd with respect to news appearing In DNA on January 08, 2015 titled "JCT sought forex refund to 'escape forex violation' in Malaysia."<BR><BR>JCT Ltd replied stating "It may please be noted that the points raised by the DNA in their report on 8th January, 2014 appear to be prejudiced and contain several contentious matters. Importantly, several matters in the aforesaid article also form part of the subject matter of the appeal filed by JCT Limited, which is pending adjudication before the Court of Appeals, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is listed for hearing in March, 2015.<BR><BR>Hence, in view of the fact that these matters are sub-judice, it would not be appropriate for us to comment on the points raised by DNA in the aforementioned article at this stage. We would like to further clarify that we have not incurred any violation of the terms under Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement." | |
