With reference to the earlier letter dated April 20, 2016 wherein the Company had informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors has been convened to be held on May 18 2016, to consider inter alia the Audited Financial results of the Company for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2016 and the Recommendation of payment of dividend on the 10% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares & Equity Shares of the Company, JSW Steel Ltd has now informed BSE that in the aforesaid meeting, the Board would also be considering raising of funds aggregating to Rs. 3,000 Crores inter alia through the issuance of Privately Placed Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures.
