Discontinuation of trading of Scrip Code/ID- 590130/KANCOTEA under the 'Permitted to Trade' / The equity shares of our company bearing Scrip Code/ID- 590130/KANCOTEA are permitted to be traded on your stock exchange as per Memorandum of Understanding signed between you and The Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited. On 8th March, 2017, we were surprised to observe that the trading permission of shares has been suspended due to procedural reason. We came to know on further enquiry that the same has been done by way of giving notice no.20170228-18 dated 28th February, 2017 on your website. No copy of such notice was served on the Company and the same is against the established principle of 'Natural Justice'. The reason cited by you in the said notice is that 'the regionalstock exchanges are being derecognsied by SEBI does not hold water as The Calcutta Stock Exchange Ltd is functional as on date.
