| The Exchange had sought clarification from Nestle India Ltd with respect to news appearing on economictimes.indiatimes.com on April 18, 2017 titled "Nestle India rejects Rajasthan food regulators report on 'substandard' Cerelac."<BR><BR>Nestle India Ltd has responded that, "We strongly disagree with the findings of the Food Analyst, Udaipur. We have got the product from the same batch analysed at three different laboratories which are NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accredited and FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) notified and reports of these laboratories show protein to be over 15%, which is above the norms. The product is also compliant with all labeling requirements. A representation has been filed before the designated officer with the request to drop all proceedings. To the best of our knowledge, no case has been filed before any court of law." | |
