Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that Dr. Sanjay G Dhande and Shri C.Balakrishnan, who were proposed for appointment as Directors at the 58th Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled to be held on September 24, 2014, have communicated their withdrawal of candidature for Directorships at the aforesaid meeting. Accordingly, item Nos. 7 and 8 relating to the appointment of Dr. Sanjay G Dhande and Shri C.Balakrishnan respectively, as Directors of the Company u/s 152 of the Companies Act, 2013 included in the agenda for consideration by the Members as stated above, shall stand withdrawn and will not be considered for e-voting and voting at the venue of the AGM.
