NTPC Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has raised Rs. 1000 crore through private placement of secured <BR>non-convertible debentures at a coupon of 8.05% p.a. with a 10 year door-to-door maturity on May 05, 2016. The proceeds will be utilized to finance capital expenditure / refinancing the debt requirement in on-going projects including recoupment of expenditure already incurred.
