The Exchange has sought clarification from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd with respect to news article appearing in Mint on November 13, 2014 titled "ONGC to sell unit stakes worth $1bn."<br/> <br/>Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd replied stating:<br/><br/>"It is clarified that no proposal for sale of ONGC's stake in ONGC Petro-additions Limited (OPaL), ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL) and ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited (OTPC) has come to the Board of Directors of the Company for its consideration.<br/><br/>Further, ONGC has not issued any such statement/press release on the above subject."
