In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) act, 1970/1980 read with sub- clause (1) of Clause 3, Clause 6 and sub-clause (1) of Clause 8 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous provisions scheme 1970/1980, the Government of India vide their notification dated 5th May 2017, has appointed Shri Sunil Mehta as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in our Bank. Accordingly, Smt. Usha Ananthasubramanian, ceased to be MD & CEO of the Bank w.e.f. 05.05.2017.
