In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 & clause 5 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India vide its notification dated 22.08.2017 has appointed Shri Ajay Vipin Nanavati (DoB: 25.04.1956) as Part-time Non Official Director as well as Non-Executive Chairman of the Bank for a period of 3 years from the date of notification or until further orders, whichever is earlier.<BR> <BR> This information is given pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.<BR> <BR> In the mean time, brief profile of Shri Ajay Vipin Nanavati, Part-time Non Official Director as well as Non-Executive Chairman of the Bank will be updated.<BR>
