Torrent Power Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has received a letter from Life Insurance Corporation of India on August 27, 2013 informing about the resignation of Shri V.K. Kukreja, a Nominee Director of LIC of India, from the Board of the Company with effect from August 22, 2013. Accordingly, Shri V. K. Kukreja ceases to be a Director of the Company with effect from the close of business hours on August 22, 2013.
