| UCO Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by the clause (c) of the sub-section (3) of Section 9 of The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/80, read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 of The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provision) scheme, 1970/80, the Central Government nominated Dr. Arvind Sharma, CGM, Reserve Bank of India, as Director on the Board of Directors of the Bank in place of Sri. B.P. Vijayendra, PCGM,, Reserve bank of India, with immediate effect and, until further orders as per Notification dated February 23, 2015. | |
