In terms of Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform you that the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3, clause 6 and sub clause (1) of clause 8 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, vide notification no. F. No. 4/4/(2)2017-BO.I dated 05.05.2017 has appointed Shri Rajkiran Rai G (DOB: 19.05.1962) Executive Director, Oriental Bank of Commerce as MD & CEO in Union Bank of India for a period of 3 years from the date of his taking over charge of the post on or after 01.07.2017 or until further order, whichever is earlier.
