| The Exchange had sought clarification from United Breweries (Holdings) Ltd with respect to news appearing in Mint on January 25, 2017 titled "CBI charges Mallya with fraud, criminal conspiracy."<BR> <BR>United Breweries (Holdings) Ltd replied stating "We wish to submit that these are newspaper reports and from these reports we understand that Dr. Vijay Mallya has been charge sheeted in connection with the matter related to Kingfisher Airlines Limited (and in liquidation) and thus the matter is subjudice.<BR> <BR>Our Company has no further information on this matter.<BR> <BR>The said news report also does not amount to material information in terms of the materiality policy framed by the Company." | |
