Jones Energy launches public offering of common stock

Jones Energy, Inc. announced the launch of an underwritten public offering of 4,250,000 shares of its common stock, subject to market conditions. The underwriters will have an option to purchase up to an additional 637,500 shares of common stock from the Company.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay outstanding borrowings under its revolving credit facility.

Barclays Capital Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Securities, Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
